My Presentation Jedi Slide Deck has exhausted its day’s stay on the homepage of SlideShare. I have to say, it was a crazy and interesting experience. Just a short post on the outcome , and how my New Year was made.

Facebook was a little more laid back, didn’t attain a lot of additional likes, but the ones that did were really a great motivation.

I also got quite a number of shares about my presentation from great personal friends, really aided me alot in getting featured.
On Linkedin, besides attaining more views and exposure, the professionals there provided alot of logical and helpful feedback. Although some of the criticism was a little hard to take, it was crucial to swallow my ego and take in some useful advice that could help me work towards better presentations in future.

Apart from an increased engagement on Social Media, SlideShare was no exception.
My Slide Deck’s views skyrocketed from 300 views to 20,000 views in a day and about 3,000 additional ones after which Much thanks to the many bloggers whom embedded my presentation on their blogs!
Supportive comments a big confidence boost!
The users at Slideshare were incredibly encouraging and gave me a real sense of belonging to a community that I had just recently been a part of!
Overall Exposure
The presentation garnered a great amount of exposure for myself as a creative worker. I made new friends with people of which I would have never gotten the chance to if not for that.

Extremely humbled by the bloggers who featured me on their website and the kind compliments paid by people whom have viewed the deck. I was not expecting much in return from the slidedeck, but was definitely given much more than I bargained for!
